Chris Chases Subject Access Requests For Vaccine Damage Claimants

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 21 November 2022 to Question 88799, in how many of the 157 claims where medical records have not been produced after more than six months subject access requests have been made; and if he will make it the policy of the Government that a subject access request must be made in every case when records are not provided within one month of being requested.

To date, no Subject Access Requests (SARs) have been submitted. The NHS Business Services Authority is currently implementing this process to begin from the week commencing 12 December 2022. SARs will be submitted where there is no engagement from the healthcare provider within 28 days of the request.
